South Malè Atoll
South Malè Atoll boasts emerald beaches bathed by clear turquoise waters and numerous diving spots with caves and shipwrecks
Home to some of the best diving spots in the Maldives, the Ari atoll is a paradise chock-full of pelagics, manta rays, hammerhead sharks and whale sharks
These gentle giants are one of the main attractions of these oceanic waters and can be spotted especially between April and July
Whilst swimming through incredible caves and anemone, chances of bumping into different shark species such as the zebra shark, the balcktip reef shark, the grey reef sharks, but especially the hammerhead and whitetip reef shark, are very high
Manta rays love to hang out in these waters all year round, but chances of spotting them are higher between April and July
These friendly, playful mammals can be spotted all year round
The waters of The Maldives are inhabited by sea turtles all year round, especially the hawksbill sea turtle and the caretta caretta
This coral reef is home to vibrant coral and anemone gardens as well as a variety of different marine creatures

I had already been to The Maldives but not on a cruise, and I must say it really is one of the best ways to explore this amazing place. We were able to see fish, corals, sharks, manta rays, turtles and so much mote. Unforgettable!!

During these 8 days we went on about 2-3 dives per day and each one was more thrilling than the next. Thanks to the amazing staff we got to see all kinds of fish, manta rays, sharks, and even a few whale sharks.

All dives were planned to perfection, with safety as a number 1 priority. Lots of stuff to see. Well planned!
